Waving Hello Friends!

This picture is one of my favourite moments with my little Flipper. We had had our first skin to skin cuddle, on her 1 month old birthday. We cuddled for 3.5 hours and I cried with joy for a lot of that time. Afterwards she was so awake, so alert and so playful - it was an absolute joy to behold. We sat for another hour holding hands and staring into each others eyes. A true mummy moment that no incubator could get in the way of.
